At North Norfolk District Council’s meeting of the Full Council on September 21 the Final Accounts for the 2010/11 financial year were approved by councillors. The Liberal Democrat Group Leader, Virginia Gay, made the following statement:
“For our part we Liberal Democrats are pleased to approve the Final Accounts for the financial year 2010/11.”
“We are proud to record that we have left behind us a council which is without debt, which has reserves to provide for a programme of capital investment in communities throughout the District, and an underspend of more than £328,000, a sum of money which represents a significant percentage of North Norfolk District Council’s minimum level of General Fund balance.”
